'Exploration and Discovery' another A-level project

I painted this for my A-level exam, in 12 hours. I was really interested in medieval ideas of astrology, and how the body can relate to wider ideas of the universe and stars. With this painting I was working with the idea of the body as an endless expanse of flesh. The glittery spots are the 'summer constellations' plotted all over the body :)
